Every semester, UA students receive $250 dining dollars on their Act Card where they can spend their dining dollars in the dining halls on campus, hang out by their apartment near the Student Center where there's Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, in the market for a quick snack to eat and to buy personal items and places on The Strip like Buffalo Phils. Having the Act Card makes eating on campus much easier and helps students save money. There are so many different restaurants on campus and outside of campus that students can get discounts at. One popular restaurant, Mugshots Grill and Bar located downtown Tuscaloosa gives students 10% off a meal with Action card upon checkout. For grocery shopping, The Fresh Market across the street from the UA student apartments The Lofts just recently started giving students 10% discounts for all University of Alabama students and employees.
Self-care and Wellness
Need a manicure or pedicure? There are many Nail Salons in Tuscaloosa, but the most popular one that UA students go to is Village Nail Bar on McFarland Boulevard near UA off-campus housing. As a student, you can get 10% off your total. At Sports Clips, you get $2 off any haircut if you use the code 2227. For students who like to get spray tans can get 10% off any items at Palm Beach Tan. For wellness and recreation purposes, students have free access to The Rec Center on campus.

Every Tuesday, all movie tickets for college students are $5 at Bowlero offers weekly specials from Sunday to Saturday for bowling and their arcade games. If you are looking for casual attire, knickknacks for your University of Alabama apartment, accessories and all things in Alabama Crimson, the perfect place to Alabama would be Alumni Hall and BamaStuff who both offer 10% off total.

Automotive services are one of the few expensive purchases that we all must deal with, so it is important that you get the best deals with the best customer service. Places like BestOne Tire Service, Inc., Firestone Complete AutoCare and Speedy Oil Change give 10% off total retail purchases. Dixie Battery gives 10% off auto motive batteries.
